Did the X-Factor Judges Blow It!

Last night, the final five contestants of The X Factor faced off in an elimination that was nothing short of dramatic, and, in my opinion, shocking. The duel was between Melanie Amaro, Rachel Crow, and the boys, Marcus Canty, Chris Rene, and Josh Krajxik. In no due time, Josh, Chris and Melanie made it through to the next round leaving Marcus and Rachel’s fate up to the judges. If you had the opportunity to hear their performances the night before, it should have been a no-brainer who the judges were going to send through to the next round. While Marcus Canty’s performance was great, it didn’t compare with the fantastic performance filled with passion and energy that Rachel Crow used to wow the audience and America. But as last nights show winded down to the final minutes, America got to see a first-class example of poor judgement by L.A. Reid and Nicole Scherzinger. These two judges simply blew it, not only in their professional integrity, but for 13-year-old songstress, Rachel Crow, her opportunity to win a 5 million dollar recording contract.
