Life’s Like This — Our elected officials often mirror societies values. It wasn’t long ago that I had a great deal of interest in politics. Nowadays, I care about who is elected but I’m just not as passionately involved in discussing the merits of candidates or the issues we are facing today. It doesn’t mean I don’t care about them, but the season of my activism has passed. But I do care about finding the right candidate that reflects the values I embrace. And to know if a candidate embraces those values, I need to be informed. One of the best resources to help you be informed is the League of Women Voters.
