Life’s Like This — The winds of change can strike at any time; the best we can do is to be prepared to meet the change head-on with a spirit of determination and hope. We all experience change in our life; it’s as constant as the old saying, “death and taxes”. As we look back at the past year, we can see all the changes that occurred in our personal lives and the world around us. Just as in 2011, the new year will bring with it changes that are inevitable. Some of these changes we have control over by exercising the power of choice, but others are dictated by life circumstances and events of which we are powerless. How we perceive and react to the changes in our life often dictates the happiness and sorrow in our lives. Continue reading
